One of the things I really like about the whole “Web 2.0″ thing is the availability of information. Hulu is a great example. Not only can you watch TV shows and movies, but they are providing access to information in a way that makes it more appealing to a lot of people — particularly younger people, who haven’t historically been interested in things like presidential press conferences. Even better is the way these sites make it easy for others to embed the content on their own blogs and websites — bringing the information to even more people. Call it the “democratization of content” or whatever else you might want, it exposes more people to our government and how it works — and that’s a good thing.
